Default Competitive PvE Guild Challenges

Been searching through the forums for quite some time and haven't found a thread regarding this issue. If this has been suggested before, I missed it and apoligize in advance.

Basic idea:
Create a set of PvE challenges for guilds to participate in. Guild scores would be recorded in a ladder so guilds can compare their results. This might be a little vague, so let me explain with an example:

Example:
Create a map with a big amount of mobs. The goal is to, within a time-frame of 5 or more minutes, get as many points as you can. Points can be claimed by killing monsters, killing bosses (extra points for that) and by completing secondary objectives (run item A to location X, keep person C alive etc.).
Penalties could be given for party deaths and failed secondary objectives.
On your screen could be the amount of points you have gained allready and the current highscore.
The ladder would be reset every so often and the mobs and objectives could be changed too. The winning guild before the reset should get some kind of price (maybe a special emote untill the next reset?)

Pros:

-Different playing style from 'normal' PvE: Much more fast-paced and better thought out team-build design

-The ladder system makes it replayable, allso I think the objective of beating some other guild's record would be very exciting.

-A entree fee could be implented so it could be used as a money sink. (Practice sessions could be made free)

-An actual use for having a guild-hall for the PvE minded people

Cons:

-Gaming style might become boring... I'm not sure as to how long this kind of gameplay would proof interesting. (Switching gametype every 2 weeks could be interesting, would however allso demand extra work for anet)

-Exploit/Uber builds (If only one boring build is able to win, it would either mean you have play that boring build or have no chance at winning)

-I'll think of more and edit them here (If anyone even finds this topic mildly interesting)

Other game modes

-Runner's challenge (Run from point a to point b on a special map)

-Assault on guild-hall (Have heard of this idea many times, basically it means endless spawn's of mobs would assault the guildhall, the guild that can hold out the longest wins)

-Can't think of more right now (might edit some extra in later)

Concluding
Sort of long post. I hope everyone can follow me (my English isn't the best, but I think it's adequate). I'd love to hear people's opinions!

Cheers!
